July 2023 Student of the Month: Emily A. (Singing)
This month it’s another Emily who’s awarded the prize for July Student of the Month.
Emily is a Singing Student and has recently passed her first Singing exam.
But it wasn’t her exam success which merited her nomination. Her Singing Teacher Meg nominated Emily for this month’s award, saying:
“I’m nominating Emily for demonstrating responsibility for her own practice and displaying positive working attitude towards new theory and vocal challenges.”
A positive attitude will help you go so far in your learning, Emily, well done!
Each month, every Teacher nominates a Student for the Sweet Symphony Student of the Month award. These nominations are then reviewed and an overall winner chosen.
Remember: you don’t have to be the most advanced player or playing the trickiest piece to be in with a chance of being nominated. Your Teacher is looking for perseverance, determination, patience and hard-work! Everyone has an equal chance of being nominated.
