Preschool Ukulele Lessons

Preschool Ukulele Lessons

Our preschool ukulele lessons are a great way to introduce younger children to music. Ukuleles are bright, fun and fairly easy for small hands to hold and play. They’re also relatively cheap for parents to buy to start their child off in music lessons.

Lessons are aimed at children aged 3+. They’ll learn to play basic chords and how to play popular nursery rhymes, both individually and playing duets with their teacher. Lessons are fun and pressure-free.

They’re the perfect introduction to music for your little one. In time, they can advance onto our regular ukulele lessons, or even move into guitar lessons when they’re ready.

My daughter takes piano lessons here and she really enjoys it, teacher is fantastic! Highly recommend.

Preschool Ukulele FAQ

What age are these lessons suitable for?

These would generally be suitable for Preschool children aged 3+.

Can I sit in on the lesson with my child?

Parents are more than welcome to come in with their child for their first few lessons, in order to meet their new teacher and to get a feel for the lesson format. After a while, we find that the child opens up and bonds more easily with their teacher without their parent present. We do have a waiting area in our entrance foyer so you can stay on-hand should your child need you.

Do I need to bring my own ukulele to my lesson?

For our preschool ukulele lessons we don’t require the Student to have their own instrument. Of course, if your little one would like to practise what they learn in their lesson at home, it might be beneficial to get one. Ukuleles can be bought for as little as £20. If needed, we can advise you on which instrument to get.

How much are your preschool ukulele lessons?

All our tuition is paid as a fixed flat-rate monthly price. For more information on prices, please click here.
