Phil Dennis is one of the Piano Teachers at Sweet Symphony School of Music

In today’s Meet The Teacher blog post, we’re introducing you to one of the great Piano Teachers on our teaching team – Phil Dennis.

Who is Phil?

Phil initially studied at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, but then has spent most of the next 30 years in London. There, he’s worked on numerous musicals as well as with several pop bands and some major orchestras. Wow!

Alongside all that, he’s also been teaching Piano and Keyboard for 15 years.

For Phil, it’s the opportunity to pass on knowledge to someone else which really makes teaching so fulfilling. He loves seeing his Students bloom, and he always strives to help them be the best they can be.

In his spare time, he enjoys long walks with his family and their two dogs – a beautiful Yorkshire terrier and a crazy Cocker Spaniel!

Phil can be found in the Sweet Symphony Studio on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons, from mid-afternoon through to 8pm when we close. He’s popular with Students of all ages, from Preschool children through to his more mature adult Students.
