Student of the Month August 2026: Les W.

Student of the Month August 2026: Les W. (Guitar)

We’re delighted to name adult guitar student Les as our Student of the Month for August!

Les was nominated by his guitar teacher, Hamilton, in recognition of the hard work he has put into learning a particularly tricky rhythm. Hamilton shared:

“I’m nominating Les for working extremely hard to learn a tricky rhythm. It is hard for an adult student to find the time to fit in practice around everything else but he always attends lessons ready to learn. Well done!”

A challenging rhythm can take real patience to work through. It means returning to something that doesn’t feel natural yet, giving it your attention and being willing to try again. Les’s efforts deserve celebrating, and it’s lovely to see that commitment recognised by his teacher.

For adult learners, music often has to find its place alongside a busy life. Finding time to practise isn’t always straightforward, which makes the enthusiasm and readiness to learn that Les brings to his lessons especially valuable.

This month’s award recognises both his hard work on a specific challenge and the positive approach he brings to learning guitar.

Congratulations, Les! Your determination hasn’t gone unnoticed, and we’re very pleased to celebrate your efforts. A well-deserved Student of the Month!
